Return to The End Of The Line – London by National Rail has reached its final destination. For those interested in buying my sequel to Memories from The End Of The Line, you don’t have long to wait.

After travelling for over two and a half years across eleven Train Operating Companies that took me over nearly 2,500 rail miles, the book is almost ready.

Here’s what it looks like.

10th of October 2023

On this day, you can pre-order your copy through my crowdfunding site. I’m using Crowdfunder again, so you’ll know the layout.

But what can you expect:

• A look and feel similar to Memories from The End Of The Line
• 56 full-page (including 5 double page spread) colour and black and white photographs representing each of the 56 destinations I travelled to during my endoftheline journey
• A personal view of the areas I visited
• Information about each of the eleven Train Operating Companies
• A brief introduction to every station I visited
• A brief history of Britain’s Railways, and
• For a bit of fun, a quiz

The book will cost £27, with postage and packaging an additional £5 for UK customers. I’ll price the postage for overseas customers on request.

On this day, I will formally publish my book through my website.

So make sure you mark these dates in your diary, calendar, wall marker, office wall, post-it on the wall, or wherever else you remind yourself of important dates.

To whet your appetite, I will release snippets from my book so you can see what’s inside. And starting tomorrow, I’ll post the 56 photos, one per day, across my social channels.

From the 22nd of November, I also plan on taking my book on the road to selected destinations. Let me know if you’d be interested in my visiting your community.
